Rumeli Rampart is at the European side of Bosphorus. It was built by Mehmet the Conqueror in 1452 for preventing the aids to Byzantine from north.
It is also known with the names of Candarli Kara Halil, Saruca ve Zaganos Pahsa, who had appointed for three big towers.
