WHAT YOU VISITAcropolis
- The Acropolis
dominates the Athenian landscape. Your guided walking tour begins with a walk up steep steps through the Propylaea, which extends
150-feet across the western face of the Acropolis. Adjacent to the
entrance stands the Temple of Athena |

Nike (or Wingless Victory). Beyond the Propylaea, on the highest point of the
Acropolis, stands the Parthenon, which is
dedicated to the Virgin Athena, the white pentelic marble temple was built 447 - 437 B.C. Beyond the Parthenon, lies the
Erechteion, a temple honoring Athena and the sea god Poseidon. The graceful Porch of the
Caryatids features columns of marble maidens supporting the roof of the temple. |

National Archeological Museum
- This treasure trove of Greece, is filled with important archaeological finds from all over Greece. You will have
the opportunity to marvel at the perfection, presence and power of the bronze statue of Poseidon along with a plethora of gold items such as

Old Olympic Stadium
- Traffic and conditions permitting, a brief stop will be made at the marble stadium which was built to host the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. During the
2004 Olympic Games, it was used for both the finish of the marathon and Archery. |

Parliament & Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
- Traffic permitting, a brief stop will be made on Syntagma Square outside the Parliament to take a photo of the Greek Parliament and Tomb
of the Unknown Soldier and their elite guards the "Evzones". |

Take a stroll through the traditional marketplace with its myriad of shops of every description. The Plaka
is famous for its jewelry stores, museum replicas, ceramics, leather and rugs. Browse through the shops to find a souvenir of your visit. |

includes walking approximately 1 mile over uneven and cobblestone surfaces
with inclines and steps. Comfortable walking shoes, comfortable clothing,
